SRINAGAR: The residence of a worker of ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was ransacked by militants at Dadsara Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
Reports said militants barged into the house of PDP zonal president Peer Mohammad Ashraf and vandalized his house, besides firing some shots in air. Ashraf was not present in the house.
Soon after the incident, security forces rushed to the spot and conducted searches to nab the militants.
Later, militants also barged into the residence of a soldier Ishfaq Ahmad at Zasaw village in Tahab in south Kashmir. The soldier was on duty. They fired some shots in the air and left.
